LILLY’S JOURNEY

Lilly was adamant to create awareness and end stigmas surrounding mental illness and addiction.  We had an opportunity to create this video in January 2019.  The video was to be showcased Nationally across Canada in Sept 2019.  I was not comfortable with airing it since Lilly had overdosed in August 2019.   A month after Lilly’s passing, tears streaming down my face, unable to speak, I was frantically looking thru my phone for a video with her smile, her laugh.  I just wanted to feel my baby.  I suddenly remembered that we had made this video and she had left a Gift for me.  A gift that would eventually help others.  Lilly never saw the final copy of this video.
